KIMDS Training and Program Division has been forerunner in imparting and conducting collaborative training programs & workshops for the rural people ofJharkhand along with JSLPS. These programs are focussed on imparting training to vulnerable population groups of Jharkhand for their participatory social and overall economic development. As of now KIMDS Training and Program Division has trained more than 10,000 people of Jharkhand.

KIMDS Training and Program division has imparted training to Scheduled Tribes & Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), belonging to Vth Scheduled Area of Jharkhand in association with JTDS for implementation of the new Jharkhand Tribal Empowerment and Livelihood Project (JTELP). Since 2010, KIMDS Training and Program division has conducted more than hundred training programs for vulnerable groups of Jharkhand.

KIMDS Training and Program Division has organized various programs for Election Department of Jharkhand. Training to the BLOs/ELOs/AERO and electoral officials for proper utilization of EVM machines along with conduct of awareness campaigns for voting rights have been conducted successfully.

KIMDS Training and Program Division has been closely associated with this JSFC in imparting training to PRI & base line health workers; mobilizing and motivating the participants for the training programme, compilation of training reports, designing the contents of training for PRI members. JSFC has compiled many research reports with the support of KIMDS Training and Program Division research team for the benefit of marginalised groups of Jharkhand.

KIMDS Training and Program Division has imparted training for the marginalised and undeveloped groups of Jharkhand in association with JECP. We have also conducted a sponsored research entitled “Impact of Inclusive Education Intervention” relating to Right to Education Act 2006. The prime focus was on situational appraisal and knowledge of the programme at ground level. The scope of study spanned over 15 Blocks and five Districts of the state of Jharkhand.

In association with NCIB, KIMDS Training and Program Division has imparted residential training to officers and NGO workers in relevant areas of crime control and prevention. More than 100 participants have benefitted from such programs till now.
