About T&P Division
Training and Programme Division, KIMDS Ranchi is dedicated to conduct training program of different department/ agencies of Government of Jharkhand and others round the year utilizing its training and development infrastructure on the campus. T&P Division of KIMDS has so far done collaborative training programs with different govt. and non- govt. departments like – JSLPS, JTDS, Jharkhand State Food Commission, etc. These programs are mainly capacity building programs for the rural and tribal people of Jharkhand.
T&P Division has imparted training to thousands of people belonging to various districts of Jharkhand. These training have imparted basic skills in improving the livelihood of people of rural Jharkhand. For example, recently we have given training to about one thousand rural people through 12 Batches in Digital Literacy programme. Further, T&P Division has also concluded a research project on sustainable development at Tetri village, Ranchi.
Objective of Training & Programme Division of KIMDS is to carry out research in various aspects of socio-economic development with managerial insights. We encourage all kinds of research including applied and action research. Over the years, the research work carried out at Training & Programme Division of KIMDS, has been increasingly used for capacity building, field action, academics and policy advocacy on a spectrum of social, economic, business and environmental issues.
